The Ukaye Ukes Duo:
Kaplan Kaye & Bill Dare are the Ukaye Ukes:
Abandon all preconceptions about the Ukulele!! - the electric Uke is now one of the "trendiest" and popular instruments. For great entertainment and a guaranteed fun time The Ukaye Ukes fit the bill! Ideal for pubs, social clubs, private functions or any special event. The Ukaye Ukes have discovered the electric Uke and given it a contemporary twist. With our self produced backing tracks we achieve a "full band" live sound. We play a wide range of music from contemporary artists like Oasis, Elbow, Amy Winehouse, Kings of Leon, Jessie J. Classic songs from The Blues Brothers, Status Quo, Bruce Springsteen, Free, Bob Marley, some Soul, Motown and Classic 50's and 60's Rock & Roll. We have released our first CD, 'Blue Skies', toured as the opening act for British Soul Legend, Geno Washington, and supported the reformed Dire Straits (The Straits) at the Royal Albert Hall.
